VIBE Creative Studios hosted its inaugural Skills Development Workshop in May 2023. Curated by Tsholo Moteka (Creative Director, VIBE Creative Studios) and Tolo Ratshefola (A&R – VIBE Creative Studios) – the workshop aimed to deliver on a transformative experience designed to equip young artists with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the local music industry.
Sixteen rising talents immersed themselves in a day of learning, guided by industry experts, including Bongani Mathenjwa on Music Business & Copyright, Khaya Sithole on Financial Literacy, Khanyi Hlongwane of Netha Marketing Links on Social Media, and life coach Yvette Aloe on Personal Mastery & Mental Wellness. The workshop set the stage for artists to build sustainable careers while fostering creativity, confidence, and financial empowerment.
